I work primarily in metaethics and moral psychology, particularly on the role that desires play in these domains. I'm currently exploring the view that desires are beliefs about normative reasons. This view is bold, but seems to me have great promise. I'm also very interested in surrounding issues such as the nature of intentions and requirements of rationality.
I also have interests in many other areas of philosophy, including normative ethics, political philosophy, metaphysics, and philosophy of mind.
